Spring blossoms and new beginnings

As the summer came to an end last year i was eager to learn more about autumn and winter photography here in Sweden.
Since i never experienced the seasons while properly trying to capture it i was excited to put by knowledge to work and at first i thought i knew how to properly capture and edit the spring / summer season.

I realize now that I’ve been exposed to winter autumn and spring so much that this summer i have that same excited feeling of learning to harness the unkown. Summer is creeping in and it feels like I’ve never properly captured it.

This is our time!

time to get inspired and capture the essence of summer

Inspiration and appreciation

There’s always one thing I’ve thought of when working with photography on my free time. Sometimes Looking back at all the memories and moments that I’ve saved on my camera, I think to myself how some of these moments aren’t saved because of me but more-so it’s thanks to the people I’m surrounded by.

Many times do I find myself in a moment where People tell me “oh you should take a picture of that”. But sometimes I just really want to be there, here and now. Feeling each deep breath as my mind makes those memories in person and not digitally through my camera.

My main take-away being, sometimes the camera can’t save the feelings. It doesn’t hurt to put the camera down and just look up.

The beginning

It all begins with an idea.

The beginning of the journey is always the toughest when it comes to creating a story using nothing but Creative Vision. Every great journey starts with an idea, a thought, a dream or much more.

My journey begins with the day where I had the realization that I could capture, encapsulate and create moments in time although maybe not to what it one was but to the visual style of what I saw and what I want to see.

My photo edits always begin with me on location imagining what the world could be and what my camera can see. But just because I finish a photo and upload it doesn't mean that that moment is done that moment is forever immortalized with those who choose to view the moment. Much like a Spring Blossom growing its buds ready to bloom but once that is done it shall Begin again.

Here is where it all begins but never wear it all ends.

And from this point let's begin this journey

Identify yourself and your style

Identify yourself

Finding your photography style and identity is always a tricky endeavor to begin. When i started to find my style of photography and what content I wanted to create and capture I got stuck in the very common rabbit hole. Looking at you favorite content creators and thinking YEAH I WANT TO MAKE THAT. But that being said its not necessarily bad to aspire to be like someone else.

The important takeaway from this is to learn what it is that you like about the visual style of their content. Once you figure out what it is you want to make. KEEP TRYING. Being consistent is what makes us learn. Make mistakes and use those mistakes to your advantage.

The first time I realized I wasn’t really finding my own style I knew i had to just go out and take my time. Much like a coffee,

Take you time and enjoy the moment. Be consistent.
